Rooftop Redemption Crouch

01
Rooftop Redemption
Rooftop Redemption is a Platformer videogame where a ninja who started a war after being manipulated by their headmaster, the leader of the vanguard finds the end of a journey of redemption after destroying all of the bases of the vanguard in the world, except for the headquarters, his hometown. In this game, we explore the ninja trying to collect the circuit books, a powerful device that can help to destroy the vanguard once and for all. But the ninja will face the hardest challenges he has ever faced, fighting against the most elite level ninja produced by the vanguard, as well as a familiar enemy. The end of the road for the ninja, as the ninja tries to find peace.
In this game that I created, I produced all the assets all by myself as well as the coding and storytelling/lore of the game that might capture the emotions of the player. This game also has a secret ending by collecting all of the circuit boards that completes the lore of this story.

The Flash - Finish Line
Level Overview:
The Finish Line is the final level for the Flash, who has to stop and close the Speedforce singularity, a wormhole from absorbing and destroying Central City.
Flash goes into Flashtime, a state where he moves so fast that everything looks as if they are at a standstill, and has to use the environment to move toward the singularity to stop it.
Because of the singularity, everything is at low gravity so the flash has to carefully maneuver using his speed and low gravity to reach the singularity. There are multiple ways to reach the wormhole and they are difficult in their own way. If the flash falls down under the map, he will die and lose the level.

Story Summary:
After defeating Savitar, The Flash's speed has been drained drastically, and is not able to use his full speed. During Flash Day, a day to celebrate the scarlet speedster, a Speedforce Singularity opened and sucked the buildings and environment of Central City.
The Flash, using all his speed, goes into Flashtime and uses his environment to maneuver his way to the top of the singularity to try and close it, whilst being in low gravity due to the singularity. After reaching the top, The Flash realizes that the singularity was created on top of Starlabs and the Flash uses all his speed to generate enough electricity and jumps into the Speedforce to close it.
After realizing that he has to stay in the Speedforce to make sure that the singularity does not open again. With his sacrifice, The Flash, also known as Barry Allen also reset the timeline so that all the previous villains and disasters never happened to Central City, as well as making everything forget who Barry Allen is, and make Wally West the new Flash.

Maze Street Hermit
Maze Street Hermit is a student project that I worked on that combined the genres of beat 'em ups, roguelite and platformer. We were given 10 builds to update weekly and implement the 3 genres and also updates and changes to the game.
The gameplay is mainly focused on an arcade-ish fighting game where player will be facing hordes of enemies in different levels. It is a 3D sidescroller game that was made in Unreal Engine 5. Some elements of each genre are present in this game, such as a melee fighting game that is from the beat'em up genre, randomized levels and items from the roguelite genre and also obstacles that players must go through from the platformer genre.
This project was made mainly for me to test my abilities and learn something new in making a game in Unreal Engine. There are many limitations that I had to overcome or try to find a different way to implement such as the multiple levels. Due to limitations when I had to work on this project, I was unable to make multiple seperate levels in the game, but I overcame that problem by making all of the levels into seperate areas in one big level and have the players teleport in between the areas.
